Todd
Miller has been associated with the game
of golf for most of his life and associated
with the representation of golf clients
for most of his professional career. After
a successful junior playing career, he achieved
collegiate playing success by participating
in the NAIA National Golf Championships
and receiving All-Conference and All-District
honors throughout his collegiate career.
Thereafter, he played professionally on
several tours and in PGA sectional events.
He graduated from Lincoln University with
a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree
in 1991 and he earned his Juris Doctorate
in 1999 from the University of Missouri.
In the interim and between coursework, he
was employed by several of the nation’s
leading golf facilities including The Bay
Hill Golf Club and Resort in Orlando, Florida
and The Sagamore Resort in upstate New York.
He
was a tax consultant and then tax senior
consultant in the Austin, Texas offices
of Deloitte & Touché, one of
the nation’s most respected property
tax firms. While employed by Deloitte, Mr.
Miller directed the firm’s GolfTax
Group, a practice concentrating on the representation
of golf course owners and operators nationwide
with respect to the reduction of property
taxes. The portfolio of golf courses exceeded
250 courses under Mr. Miller’s control
and the average appeal success rate exceeded
80%. |
In the fall of 2006, Mr. Miller formed the Law
Office of Todd Miller, LLC. From its inception,
the Law Office of Todd Miller, LLC has primarily
concentrated on servicing golf course, commercial,
residential and industrial property tax clients,
both in administrative appeals and litigation.
The firm also enjoys a broad civil and criminal
litigation practice including personal injury,
contract, and family law litigation.

law in the State of Missouri; the Federal
District Courts in Missouri; and the Federal
Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. |
